After 5.5 hours in flight time from Jakarta to Hong Kong finally I arrived. It was pretty long flight but is all good. I was here 12 years ago when it was under British Colony. Things changed last time I was in the airport that had to land surrounded by skycrappers
Now HK international airport has moved to much bigger space and more facilities the immigration is not that tight like it used to but price for local food has changed. Taxi cab cost me around 400hkd to my hotel in wan chai area.
Wan chai also known for the susie wong area surrounded by bars and clubs. Strategically located I found a lot of local food with reasonable price.
On the first day I met my Internet buddy Dr. John Chan, he arrived exactly after I checked in and we had a good chat and thanks to his hospitality
I know my way around a bit
the difficulty if you just bring mobile device like what I used to write this section then you be looking for paid service that can cost you around 20 hkd for 24 hour service. Finally I got connected and was so happy thanks to public wifi network called pccw. You can get your prepaid service from 7eleven. oh one more thing my indonesia mobile provider has also network called people and I can send and receive text MSG awesomely without the need to do any setting configuration.
my first late lunch I had local hong kong fried rice and followed by BBQ pork and crispy skin pork rice. yummy, am going out now for gym in my hotel and tomorrow I will be heading to Macau
see ya on another lost in translation Hong kong edition
By the time you are doing back up and selecting which photo should go to your album or to be printed.
Then you select a wrong images the one that you wanted got deleted and you left out with just the ugly ones.
These photos were so precious as you have just taken your way to capture the moment when you went travelling. So what can be done next? You lose hope and wish that you can reset time and not doing the
stupid decision to delete all. And you got the whole day to be a bad day.
Don’t get down yet. My father just went from trip to Japan and he got over 2GB to be backup and most of them are mp4 videos in AVI format. So I told him to make a backup but he accidentally deleted the whole 2GB of videos with my mom memories. Ah he was panicked and I said I do not know how to recover but I do
remember when you delete something some fragment are there until you create another photos.
So here I am, did search on google and found a unique 2 free software. Yeah you read it right they are free and amazingly I did recover the whole 2GB with around 5% loss is better than nothing at all. So I do want to share this 2 great tools if you like it and feel that these guys have done a great job. Donate please
You can’t exchange memory with what they have shared here.
Recover the “accidentally” lost moment… and never do the same kind of mistake!
Here is what i used for recovering the accidentally deleted photo:
I used this: PC Inspector Smart Recovery
For how to use it and the step by step instruction check this link here
Having A Holiday? or Planning One?
And why should you learn to plan ahead
I’d say that is good to have a holiday, and some of know why it is so important to break from routines and get into refresh mindset and some of us may discover ourselves better during holiday. Holiday lower down our high blood pressure and life stress including pressure at work, home or family.
Subconsciously when we are too busy our life and excitement in work or family gets burn out. This is not a good indication. A lot of people are planning holiday like a runaway solution from problem. Is good at one point but let’s see some other way to actually fully enjoy your holiday.
I learn that planning a holiday ahead is much better option than just planning it to fit in our hectic schedule.
The way to do it is simple. First you actually look at the calendar if you are in mid year then try to plan holiday like every quarter of year (once every 4 months). With this in mind, you will be more prepared physically, emotionally and spiritually. Imagine if you set your own holiday isn’t a cool thing to do? You plan it in your future. I happen to find if I plan ahead, I have more strategy as business owner to create income to support that holiday.
Since I like beach holiday rather than mountain top. I am looking for a place where I can easily access beach area without having too much to spend. I also get a few of my buddies to see if we can be on holiday together. Is good time to crash out and hang out, keeping in touch with them.
I also see the benefit of planning holiday ahead that when you work, you intend to have better expectation that there is a holiday after 4 months. This is something that motivates you better at work.
Recently, in beginning of June I went to Bali with fellow Internet Business Owner. Some of our meetings supposed to happen around June 5th - 7th, 2008. I had planned to go earlier so I have time for myself.
It was a thrilling experience, and I can say I am fully refresh and it is also part of rediscovering of who I am being fun with life and enjoy the gift of single hood.
Here are some of the activity I do in Day1. Oh yeah.. since where I live in Jakarta, Indonesia only take 1.5 hours to get to Bali then I decide to stay longer and also find a good lodging where I can take my good buddy Kevaz. He has helped me quite a lot with some projects and we are planning to do our own projects together. So I consider him like my sidekick, it was his first time to be in Bali. And it has been so many times for me but I never get bored as I always try a new thrill.
I stayed in a very nice place cottage around Sanur Beach area called the Bali Sukun Cottage, for just a U$30/nite for standard room. It is a no brainer to actually use their service. You might be thinking what kinda lodging did I choose. It was one of the best place to stay longer in Bali for 7 - 21 days or even more.
It provides you with Hot Water, Breakfast for 2, Airconditioner, Satellite TV inside the room and for Internet Junkies or Internet Business Owner like me it has WIFI connection.
My friend stephanie chin recommended the balinese massage of the cottage run by a japanese lady. She said it was one of the best, the price is around U$25 per massage but I say it is well worth it as she looks refresh after the massage.
Here are some of the Day 1, photo collection. I will tell you more about it why Bali should be your destination for holiday.
